Ride Around the Lake is a recreational cycle for Charity. Each May, hundreds of people ride around the picturesque Lake Illawarra to raise money for charity.
Having assisted in 2015 as a Graphic Designer and Videographer, I was honoured to be selected to lead media and communications for the event in 2016 and again in 2017.

The new logo for Ride Around the Lake was designed to be modern, versatile, and instantly recognizable. The circular layout reinforces the theme of cycling while also symbolizing unity and community.
The minimal bicycle illustration ensures clarity and scalability, making it effective across various applications, from digital media to event merchandise. The use of the teal accent aligns with Lighthouse’s branding and subtly links the two visually.

The typography is bold and legible, wrapping around the design to create a stamp-like effect.
